Can this really be true, the British member of the European Parliament Daniel Hannan asks in an entry on his Telegraph.co.uk blog today. He is astonished by the fact that the British government has chosen to ban the leader of a legitimate political party from entering the United Kingdom.

Geert Wilders has been denied entry into Great Britain. The Dutch parliamentarian had been invited by members of the House of Lords to show his movie Fitna and participate in a debate about freedom of speech. Today however, Wilders received a letter from the British embassy in which he was informed that he would not be allowed to enter the United Kingdom.
