Geert Wilders has announced today, that he intends to fly to Britain in spite of a ban by the British government. The Freedom Party leader is scheduled to attend a screening, for members of the House of Lords, of his movie Fitna. "We'll see if the British government is really so cowardly as to ban me from entering the country," says a defiant Wilders.
Lord Malcom Pearson, the British peer who invited Wilders to London, says he is shocked by the British government's 'weak' decision to ban the Dutch MP. He told Dutch television program Nova that even though he does not agree with Wilders' call for the Koran to be banned, he would 'defend his right to say what he has said'.
