Sharia-courts in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands

Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders has put a set of written parliamentary questions to the Dutch Government about the astonishing news that there are 85 sharia-courts in existence in the United Kingdom. Wilders feels that sharia-law should never be accepted and should be strongly countered. Dutch mosques where sharia-justice is being practiced should be tracked down and closed.

The English language website of the Dutch newspaper NRC Handelsblad features the following story on Geert Wilders:

More than half the people with Turkish and Moroccan backgrounds in the Netherlands say they would consider leaving the country due to the growing popularity of anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders. A third say they would definitely like to emigrate, according to a survey published on Monday.

Israel will be a major part of Geert Wilders' next film on Islam, the rightist Dutch legislator said last week in an interview for Haaretz. He praised Avigdor Lieberman, observing "similarities" between Yisrael Beiteinu and the Party for Freedom - a small movement which has grown to become Holland's second most popular.
