Cologne Events May Happen on Large Scale in Netherlands Too

Following the recent attacks by Arab men on German women in several German cities, PVV leader Geert Wilders and his colleague, PVV MP Sietse Fritsma, today asked a number of questions to the Dutch Prime Minister and the Secretary of State for Security and Justice. Dutch Public Chooses Geert Wilders as Politician of the Year 2015

GW PvhJ 2015Geert Wilders, leader of the Party for Freedom (PVV) has been elected Politician of the Year 2015 by the Dutch public. The award was announced tonight by the television program EenVandaag, a news program of Dutch public television.

Geert Wilders dominated the political debates in the past year, such as those about the terror attacks in Paris, the immigration crisis and the debate about the government plans for next year. Earlier this year, he also won an award as the best debater.

Since 2004, the Dutch Politician of the Year is nominated yearly by EenVandaag, following a poll of some 35,000 people who appoint the best politician of the past year. It is the third time that Geert Wilders wins the award. Earlier, he was Politician of the Year in 2010 and 2013. This is a record. Never before has anyone won the award three times.

Geert Wilders: “It is great to be chosen by the public as Politician of the Year. It is a huge honor. And an encouragement to fight even harder for the interests of the Netherlands and the Dutch people in 2016.”
